Radical Association of Civil Engineers (RACE) is the grand Technical Association of the Civil Dept. of VKCET which provides the students an exposure to recent advancements in the area of civil engineering. It aims at encouraging the students to improve their technical skills and to provide ample opportunities for realizing their ideas. A variety of technical activities are organized by the association which is coordinated by the students with the guidance of staff members. This helps them to improve their leadership and management skills.
The Association was formally inaugurated by Padma Shri G. Shankar, Architect. It also organizes a charity-based programme “Punarjani” which provides the students with an opportunity to interact with the balanced society.

ONLINE WORKSHOP ON “VIRTUAL SURVEY CAMP”
RACE 2020 organized 3-Day Online workshop on “Virtual Survey Camp” on the guidance of Dr. Benny Joseph and Mr. Jijin A on 27th – 29th July 2020 for engineering students.
WORKSHOP ON “DIGITAL DRAFTING AND DRAWING”
RACE 2020 organized 5-Day workshop in association with CADD Center, Trivandrum on “Digital Drafting and Drafting” on the guidance of Ms. Aiswarya P G on 18th – 23rd April 2022 for engineering students.
